Well, I came to Fox Chapel in the early 2000's for a
friend's birthday party and I never left! Shortly after that is when I
got involved in becoming a Dock Master. I have met a lot of great
people along the way and am looking forward to meeting more.
There are so many great things to do here as well as on the
river. Come stay with us for a day, week or a month...we will help get
you set up!
Feel free to stop me in passing for anything you may need.
I have owned boats for the past 54 years and most of the
time spent on these three rivers. I came to dock at Fox Chapel Marine
shortly after Hurricane Ivan blew through here in 2004 and left my 31'
houseboat in the fountain at the point. Having bought the boat at Fox
Chapel and had knowledge of their Service Department, it was towed there
for the much needed repairs. Being pleased with all the work that was
done and meeting some great people, my wife and I decided to dock with
FCM the following year.
Prior to coming here, I docked at four other marinas in the
Pittsburgh area. If you have visited most other marinas in the area,
you would have to agree Fox Chapel is a great place to be!
If you have any questions or concerns while docking here, please let me know.

In late 2014, my wife and I had our first boat shipped to Fox Chapel Marine to be reassembled. After launching our boat and going to another marina, we returned the next day and have been docked at FCM ever since!
It's easy to see why FCM is the Premier Marina in the Pittsburgh area.
I look forward to meeting all the boaters at FCM and having a fun and safe summer.
If you have any questions while you are with us, please feel free to let me know.
